1. Who we are

Sonocall is a voice AI platform operated by Sonotech Inc. Under Quebec's Loi 25 and Canada's PIPEDA, Sonotech acts as the data processor; our tenants are the data controllers.

2. Data we collect

  • Your phone number
  • Audio recording (if enabled by the tenant)
  • Transcript of your voice
  • Information you provide during the call
  • Call metadata: time, duration, outcome, transfers

3. Where your data is stored

Persistent storage: 100% in Canada — Montreal (Google Cloud Canadian region). Database, recordings, knowledge base — all in Canada.

Real-time AI processing: voice briefly transits Google's paid AI infrastructure. Google does NOT train on your data, does NOT retain prompts/responses long-term, and does NOT allow human review without organizational consent.

4. Your rights

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Request deletion
  • Receive your data in a portable format

→ Exercise your rights (we respond within 30 days)

5. Consent disclosure

At the start of each call, the AI agent plays this announcement:

"This call may be recorded and analyzed for quality, training, and service improvement purposes."

If you refuse at any time, the agent immediately stops recording and offers: (a) transfer to a human, (b) end the call, or (c) callback later.
